How to Use Hand Dyed Yarns

Each skein is one-of-a-kind, even from the same dye lot, because each fiber might absorb the dye differently. When working with hand dyed yarns it is best to keep rotating skeins throughout the project, knitting two rows with one skein, then the next two rows with another skein.
